  • Great church family!

Truth is being preached without a PC filter which is rare these days!

  • Amazing Church and equally amazing people!! Very loving, tons of opportunity to help and participate. Sound and solid and definitely the kind of church you want your children to grow up in! I love my Cornerstone family! ❤

On June 26 2016 I went into see pastor Denny. I opened up and asked him To help my family and to help my husband get over his anger. I was invited back at 6 that evening to see my daughter testify about her experience at church camp. And so I returned at such time. Only to be approached by the pastor and asked to leave because my daughters dad would not let her stay if I did. So I left very upset. I was just outside the church doors trying to not cry. But was very much upset and was criing pretty hard. When I was able to walk to my car it was still at least another hour before I was OK to drive out of there. No one came out to check on me. However the pastor did come out to check on everyones cars.
Then on july 3,2016 I returned to cornerstone in Moore. I decided to give it another chance even after the way I was treated the Sunday evening before.
And after service started I was approached by the pastor and then 2 others and asked again to leave. They even threatened me with calling the cops. I explained that this is Gods house and that I felt it was a shame that one single person who chooses to not be here if I am is the one who is choosing to leave. Yet they ask me to go. I said I had prayed about this and I felt very firm in remaining for service for this was Gods house and I wasn't causing problems and none of us have the right to ask another to leave. The Moore police were called and an officer came into the church while service was going on. I explained I was doing nothing wrong that I just wanted to hear Gods word. He then said if I did not leave right then he would forcefully remove me and I would be charged with not cooperating with him. So upon leaving the chapel I was placed under arrest for a failure to appear on a trespassing charge I had intended to rectify after the 4th of July holiday.
I am insulted and embarrassed by such behavior. And I am sure this is not what we as Christians do. I will be seeking not only some legal advise but contacting other cornerstone baptist churches to aware them of this pastors behavior toward me.
